The recorder picked up an excellent movement of Pink-Footed Geese overnight which began around 23:20 with further skeins detected a to, 23:33, 00:39, 00:47, 01:11, 02:19, 02:43, 03:00 and 05:13. Fifty seven call were registered in total and the best was around 03:00 when the geese must have flown low over the house. The still clear night meant for a great recording.
There was also a small passage/arrival of Snipe in the early hours.
