First decent night of Redwing migration with 95 calls recorded between 22:30 and 07:30. There would no doubt been more if the recorder had been put out earlier. There was rain during the night which quietend things down but there was more or less constant passage from 10:30 to 01:30 and a surge at dawn with the bulk of the calls (56) coming in a time minute period around 07:30. Nice to get a Goldcrest calling at dawn too as well as a Bullfinch.
