There’s still a pair of Stonechats around the upper res which are likely to overwinter. Here’s the male.
There wasn’t much else of note. I’ve not checked for Jack Snipe or Woodcock yet but will later this month. There’s some Teal and Wigeon on Parsonage but apart from a few Mallard and Cananda Geese Dean Clough is a wildfowl free zone at present. There aren’t even any Great Crested Grebes, which is unusual. The only finch was a calling Siskin and three Meadow Pipits and a calling Skylark were the only notable “visible migrants”.
